Valérie Bègue, or Valerie Begue in English, is Miss Reunion. She was born on September 26, 1985, in Saint Pierre, the third-largest commune in the French overseas département of Réunion in Indian Ocean. Miss Valerie Beuge was elected as Miss France on December 8, being the first Miss France from the Réunion island since Monique Uldaric, elected in 1976.
Now merely two weeks passed, Miss Valerie Begue was hit a photo scandal--French Entrevue magazine published some of Begue's pictures (click the play button in the above youtube video to watch them) showing the beauty queen being crucified in a swimming pool and licking some yogurt.
Miss France organisers believed these photos are provocative and accused Valerie of violating the pre-competition guarantee that she should never been photographed in compromising positions. And the President of the Miss France contest, Genevieve de Fontenay, went on French radio to call her to resign.
But Miss Begue refused to resign, saying she had been betrayed. How do you think? If Miss Valerie Begue should resign? For us, we totally stand up with Begue, as those picture are still very save for watch, as long as she didn't do something as stupid as France's swimming champion Laure Manaudou, twenty of whose naked photos for the former boyfriend Italian swimmer Luca Marin were surfaced on the internet.
