Rebecca De Mornay, the actress played the prostitute who befriends Tom Cruise's high school student in the 1983 film "Risky Business," was officially charged by the L.A District Attorney's office with two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence, TMZ.com first reported.
De Mornay , 48, was arrested on the night of Oct. 30 for a traffic violation on Sunset Blvd in Beverly Hills when officers detected an odor of alcoholic beverages on her breath. De Mornay was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, but failed. Her blood alcohol level was read at .09.
According to a Los Angeles District Attorney's spokeswoman, Rebecca De Mornay was charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of .08.
