Blue Sun in Egypt
When noticing the title of Blue Sun sets behind the Pyramids in Egypt at Redidt.com, I believed this may be a unique spectacular phenomenon of the Sun, but it seems not, it's a result of air pollution. From Coasttocoastam.com
PyramidCam captures a live image of the pyramids every 30 seconds. This particular image, saved by Tom Hartlove on December 14, 2006, is one of only a few ever documented occurrences of a blue sun
"A very rare phenomenon known as a 'blue sun.' These have been observed from time to time around the world. The most recent widely accepted documentation of a blue sun occurred in September 1950 in Edinburgh, Scotland. A discussion of that event appears in Craig Bohren's book, 'Clouds in a Glass of Beer,' on page 91."
The main cause is thought to be smoke in the atmosphere. From time to time smoke from farmers burning brush between the camera location and the pyramids' plateau rises to camera level and is apparent on many of our images. We have also captured long plumes of smoke visible behind the pyramids, particularly in winter when farmers burn stubble in the fields in the Delta and around Cairo.

Daniel Edwards' Dead Prince Harry Sculpture
Daniel Edwards, the controversial New York-based sculptor who has created half nude Hillary Clinton, Autopsy Paris Hilton, stirred the pot again, by bringing his latest artwork Dead Prince Harry. Edwards said "Prince Harry's spirit must have died the day they told him he couldn't serve."
The sculpture shows 'Prince Harry' laid out in front of the Union Jack with his head resting on a Bible and a bloodied Welsh flag in his hands while his gun remains holstered.
Iraq War Memorial featuring the Death of Prince Harry, the Martyr of Maysan Province also shows a desert vulture resting on the boots of the 'corpse' which is holding a cameo locket of Diana, Princess of Wales.
The finished artwork, which will feature the second-in-line to the Windsor throne laid out on a slab with pennies on his eyes and his ears cut off, will be unveiled at the Bridge Art Fair at the Trafalgar Hotel in London next Thursday on October 11. Link
Kimi Raikkonen Wins F1 Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai
Finland's Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari won the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai by beating 9.8 seconds from second-placed McLaren Mercedes-Benz driver Fernando Alonso. The world championship leader Lewis Hamilton retired with 25 laps to go after sliding off the pit lane entry road on lap 31. Hamilton has 107 points, Alonso 103 and Raikkonen 100. Now, this year's Formula One title battle has turned into a three-way fight to the last race in Brazil. To become the youngest champion in history and the first to achieve the feat in his rookie season, Lewis Hamilton has no way but to win or finish ahead of teammate Alonso on October 21's Brazil Grand Prix. Pamela Anderson Married to Rick Salomon
Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon had officially tied the knot at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas on the night of October 6.
The pair applied for a marriage license last month in Las Vegas. It's the third marriage to both of them.
Anderson's children and members of her family all attended the small ceremony held between Anderson's two magic shows. Wedding guests included Tobey Maguire, Lukas Haas and magician Hans Klok.
Anderson,40, donned a white denim Valentino dress, and Rick, 38, followed her all the wedding night. Earlier report said Anderson has been pregnant.

Chinese Stars Bare All For Breast Cancer Campaign
To raise public awareness for breast cancer prevention, Chinese mainland actress Li Xiaoran, Taiwan model and TV host Pace Wu and Hong Kong veteran actress Angie Chiu, recently took off their clothes to shoot a series of photos for an activity called "Pink Ribbon". The photos were published on women health magazine Trend Health. It's said that the Pink Ribbon is the symbol of support for the women around the world who have breast cancer. Link
