Among the Thousand Islands in the U.S.- Canada border Saint Lawrence River on Alexandria Bay in upper state New York, there is a pair of islands near Rockport called Zavikon
. An international bridge between the bigger part of Zavikon in Canada and the smaller part in the USA, is deemed as the "world's shortest international bridge". One can see by the national flags on the bridge that Canada is on the left and America is on the right.
