Kimberly Mueller, is the smallest baby ever born and the youngest survivor in Germany after she was born 15 weeks prematurely. When she came to the world in the 25th week of her mother's pregnancy, Mueller was just 10.2 inches long and weighed at only 10.5 ounces. With a survival chance of less than 1,000 to one, every day she has got through since then is a triumph. After six month's intensive care at the University Clinic in Goettingen, Kimberly Mueller has grown to weighing 5.5 pounds and measuring 17 inches and was granted to go her Hanover home living with daddy Andreas Mueller and mommy Petra Meuller.
The world's smallest known surviving baby was Rumaisa Rahman who weighed just 8.6 ounces when she was born in Chicago in September 2004.
