A Thai passenger plane of the budget airline One-To-Go by Orient Thai Airlines slid out of runway and crashed into nearby walls in Thailand's southern Phuket International Airport (see the satellite photo) on Sunday September 16, causing many casualties. There were altogether 128 passengers and crew aboard the flight OG 269, about 60 of them were feared dead. The ill-fated MB 82 aircraft broke into two pieces and exploded into flames while landing at Phuket
about 0840 GMT. The strong wind and heavy rain was blamed for the reason of the plane crash. I once travelled to Phuket via a Malaysia budget airlines, totally attracted by their beautiful scenes and transvestites culture.
