Because the new Boeing plane (photos of its luxury interiors), which is mostly made from brittle carbon compounds rather than flexible aluminum, is more likely to shatter on impact and may emit poisonous chemicals when ignited if it had crashed. But we hope that there will never have a Boeing 787
to crash!!!
